Activities:

Black Rock Ranch is a family owned and operated facility. We take pride in what we have to offer, with the emphasis on an enjoyable and memorable one-of-a-kind outing for each of our guests.

 

Wildlife Viewing:	Experience the "Wild" of the wilderness by Birding, viewing Deer, Desert Bighorn Sheep, Javelina, Red-Tail Hawks, along with many other Desert Creatures.
Hiking:	Nature's Serenity will capture your attention as you hike to places untouched by man, visit archeological sites, see the "Box", or walk down the winding creek.
Cooking:	Learn how to cook "Cowboy" style using dutch ovens over a campfire, or learn the basics of preserves. Participate in "Old West" meal preparation.
Experience Livestock:	This Ranch is still a working cattle ranch, we can give you demonstrations of anything involved in cattle ranching such as: Learning to Rope, watch a branding, culling, vaccinating, and sorting. These activities are still done "Old West" Style.
History:	Learn about the 100 years of history of the Black Rock Ranch and its surroundings.
Shooting:	Try your aim with a 12 gauge shotgun at our 16 position clay targets course. Safety instuctions and shooting lessons will be given. If target shooting isn't enough for you at an additional cost we will let you hunt in our shooting preserve where we will release game birds (chukar and bob-white).
Other Activites:	Try your aim at Horseshoes, Billiards, &Volleyball, or Sit in the Hot Tub, Enjoy the Campfire, Listen to Cowboy Poetry performed by our own published poet Bunny Dryden or just take in the scenery.
